TRAVEL DIARIES - Magische Auszeit

TRAVEL DIARIES - Magical Time Out

by: Ingrid (Norway)

The hammock is lightweight and easy to transport. It's a great alternative to a seat pad – all you need are two trees and you have a cozy spot. And luckily, trees aren't a problem in Norway.

In the midst of the stresses of everyday life, a trip in a hammock feels incredibly relaxing. The vibrant colors of the Ticket To The Moon hammocks also make perfect photos.

My best hammock experience was last year: I slept outside at a viewpoint with a breathtaking sunset. The next morning, I was woken up by a capercaillie running around right next to the camp. If you want to sleep outside, I definitely recommend a good sleeping pad and a warm sleeping bag. But the hammock was a dream bed—I slept like a kid.

I have also had wonderful moments in the hammock near my home: coffee in the sun , wine at sunset or a good book by the campfire – that’s all you need for little moments of happiness.
