Yes – our hammocks are breathable. We use high-quality parachute nylon that allows air to circulate and feels comfortable even in warm temperatures.
At the same time, nylon is lightweight, quick-drying, and very durable – ideal for outdoor use, travel, and changing conditions.

Cotton feels a bit softer, but requires more care and is less suitable for moisture or frequent storage.

For on-the-go and outdoor use, we clearly recommend nylon.

Spreader bars make hammocks less stable and increase the risk of tipping – they also add extra weight.
Due to the generous length of our hammocks, over three meters, bars are simply not necessary with Ticket to the Moon.

Orders on eu.ticketothemoon.com are shipped from our warehouse in Germany. This means: no customs fees within the EU.

Note for non-EU countries: Additional customs fees may apply. The shipping service provider reserves the right to charge an advance fee for customs duties.

In Europe, we are proud to offer the best service with our logistics provider Quivo.

Delivery time depends on the country of delivery and is usually between 1–6 business days.

Yes – we give a 10-year guarantee on material and manufacturing defects.
Normal wear and tear, UV damage, or improper use are excluded from this guarantee.

Our warranty exclusively covers material and manufacturing defects. Not covered are:

• UV damage, e.g., fading, brittle material resulting in cracks
• Weather or accident damage, e.g., due to strong winds, fire, heat, or animal claws/bites
• Improper use or care, such as:
  -hanging hammocks too low; ground contact or dragging on the ground can cause material damage
  -contact with sharp or pointed objects
  -exceeding the maximum load capacity (depending on the model)
  -jumping, strong swinging, or misuse
• Normal wear and tear over time (i.e., age and use-related wear that naturally occurs with regular use)

The ideal distance between two fixed points for our standard models is approx. 3–4 meters.

• The recommended sitting height is about 40–50 cm above the ground.
  
• The hammock should hang loosely and not be stretched taut.
  

If the distance between the fixed points is greater, you can use one of our extensions to safely bridge the distance. For shorter distances, the suspension points should be set higher accordingly.

Yes. Hammocks don't just have to hang from trees – with our wall mount, you can securely attach your hammock to concrete, wood, or stone walls. This system is ideal for indoor use or for places where there are no natural attachment options.

Yes – for most models.
Our Compact, Original, and King Size hammocks are all 320 cm long, making them a perfect fit for most standard frames around three meters.

However, the shorter Mini Hammock and the longer Honeymoon and Mammock hammocks do not fit into a standard frame.

Temporarily yes – permanently no.
UV radiation causes colors to fade and can weaken the material over time.

Therefore, we recommend storing the hammock after each use (with the Express Bag this takes less than a minute) or using a protective sleeve.

Yes – absolutely.
Our Tree-Friendly Straps / Daisy Chains distribute weight evenly and protect tree bark. The trees will thank you – and you can relax and hang out.

A few simple tips will ensure that you enjoy your hammock for a long time:

• Avoid sharp or pointed objects
  
• Do not expose the hammock to direct sunlight permanently
  
• Keep away from fire, embers, and cigarettes
  
• Make sure the hammock hangs at least 40 cm (15.75 inches) above the ground ("off the ground")
  
• If possible, take off your shoes before lying down in it
  

If you follow these guidelines, nothing stands in the way of a long and relaxed hammock relationship.

All our products can be machine washed (delicate cycle) at 30 degrees or hand washed.
