Warranty & Manufacturer's Guarantee
Statutory Warranty
When purchasing a product, you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights of the country in which you purchased the product.
For consumer purchases within the European Union, the statutory warranty period is generally at least two years. It applies to the respective seller.
If you purchased your product from a retailer, please contact that retailer for the statutory warranty. If you purchased from our online shop, you can contact us directly.
The statutory warranty rights apply to all our products and are not restricted by our voluntary manufacturer's guarantee.

Voluntary 10-Year TTTM Manufacturer's Warranty
For the products expressly listed below, Ticket to the Moon automatically grants a voluntary, limited manufacturer's warranty of ten years from the original purchase date within the European Union. This applies to products purchased directly from Ticket to the Moon or an authorised dealer.
Product registration is not required for this.
The manufacturer's warranty covers material and manufacturing defects that occur during normal and intended use.
It applies to eligible products purchased on or after September 27, 2026.
The warranty is transferable to a new owner with the original proof of purchase. Please keep the proof of purchase; it is required for verifying a warranty claim.

For these products, only the statutory warranty rights apply. For consumer purchases within the European Union, the statutory warranty period is generally at least two years.
What does the 10-year manufacturer's warranty cover?
The voluntary manufacturer's warranty covers material and manufacturing defects that occur during normal and intended use.
In the event of an approved warranty claim, we will repair the product free of charge or replace it with an equivalent product. Ticket to the Moon will bear the necessary shipping costs, provided that the return has been confirmed by us in advance.
If the original model is no longer available, we may offer a comparable replacement product. Repair or replacement does not restart or extend the warranty period; the original purchase date remains decisive.
Understanding "Wear and Tear" vs. Defects
Our products are made from high-performance materials that are lightweight, strong, and packable. However, these materials can be sensitive to environmental factors and improper handling. In particular, Lightest fabrics and ultralight products are delicate and require special care.
This warranty does NOT cover:
-
UV degradation from prolonged sun exposure, which can make nylon brittle or discoloured.
-
Weather or environmental damage, including wind, sustained rain, mildew, campfire sparks, embers, or animal damage.
-
Improper setup or use, including hanging the hammock too high off the ground.
-
Exceeding the maximum weight capacity of 200 kg / 440 lbs.
-
Dynamic loading, such as jumping, aggressive swinging, or bouncing.
-
Damage from sharp or abrasive objects, including jewellery, knives, rocks, zippers, buckles, or contact with rough ground.
-
Any modifications or unauthorised repairs.
-
Untied or altered knots at the ends of the hammock.
- Normal wear and tear, especially on painted zipper heads where the coating may wear off over time with regular use.
