The Heritage Collection is a tribute to the island where Ticket to the Moon was born.
For this anniversary edition, we are working with traditional Balinese fabrics that are deeply connected to the culture, craftsmanship, and history of the island.
This series begins with IKAT – one of the oldest and most artistic textile dyeing techniques found throughout Indonesia.
What makes IKAT so special
In the Ikat technique, the threads are dyed before they are woven .
Craftsmen carefully wind, tie, and dye the yarn in sections to create patterns that are only fully revealed when the fabric is finally woven on the loom.
This process requires patience, precision , and profound knowledge passed down through generations. The result is textiles that appear alive – with organic variations in pattern and color.
