The Heritage Collection is a tribute to the island where Ticket to the Moon was born.

For this anniversary edition, we are working with traditional Balinese fabrics, which are deeply connected to the culture, craftsmanship, and history of the island.

The first in this series is IKAT – one of the oldest and most artistic textile dyeing techniques found throughout Indonesia.

What makes IKAT so special

In the Ikat technique, the threads are dyed even before they are woven.

Artisans carefully wrap, tie, and dye the yarn in sections to create patterns that are only fully revealed when the fabric is finally produced on the loom.

This process requires patience, precision, and deep knowledge passed down through generations. The result is textiles that appear vibrant – with organic variations in pattern and hue.
