How the Ridgeline Works

Under tension: As soon as tension is applied to the line, the outer braid stretches and becomes narrower. It wraps around the inner section of the rope like an iron stranglehold. The more weight is placed in the hammock, the tighter the connection becomes—without any knots at all.

When the tension is released: As soon as there is no longer any tension on the rope, the braided cord loosens. The “tunnel” widens again, and you can easily and smoothly slide the loop to adjust the length with millimeter precision.
