This way, hammocks and similar items remain ready for use for a long time.
To further extend the lifespan of your hammock and similar items, you'll find simple tips here on proper handling and care.
How to properly clean your hammock
All our products can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle or by hand. Use a mild detergent and be sure to remove any hooks or carabiners before washing.
For heavier soiling, we recommend pretreating by hand, for example with bar soap and a soft brush.
This tutorial will show you step by step how to remove and then reattach the hooks.
Additional protection for Technical hammocks
For our Technical hammocks (e.g., Lightest & Pro models) and mosquito nets, we also recommend using a laundry bag. It protects the material and seams and ensures that everything retains its shape even after many washes.
Drying properly – it's that easy
After washing, simply let the hammock air dry, ideally in the shade. Please avoid using a dryer or direct heat, as these can unnecessarily damage the material.
Conclusion
With a few simple steps, your hammock will stay clean, comfortable and durable – ready for many more adventures, no matter where in the world.
