LIGHTEST LOOPS – Ultralight loops for minimal weight

The loops are very lightweight and can be used to replace the original rope on TTTM hammocks or other gathered end hammocks as well. I guess these are the same which are used for the pro mats. I haven't had much time yet to test the loops extensively but I'm pretty sure they are strong and robust enough.

They are surely long enough to easily replace the rope in my "original size" hammock, tie a ridgeline with a larks head knot to the remainder of the loop and to clip in a carabiner for the tree straps. But they could be slightly longer. if you want to experiment with other connection methods. For example they are not long enough to tie your tree straps directly to the the loops with a becket hitch which is sometimes used by lightweight enthusiasts.
